The Clearfield® CraftSmart product line provides physical fiber protection for Clearview® products. It completes and delivers a turn-key passive solution from the central office/headend to the customer premise. The CraftSmart Fiber Protection Vaults (FPV) provide the most cost-effective thermoplastic enclosures in the industry, meeting and exceeding the industry standards for strength, reliability and environmental concerns.

CraftSmart FPVs are designed and qualified to Telcordia GR902 and comply with the applicable elements of ANSI/SCTE 77 2002, for greenbelt placement. Besides their traditional uses of splice cases and outside plant cable storage, the FPVs, along with a swing-up hinge, can mount the FieldSmart SCD Case for easy below grade access and discrete blind storage. The FPV’s high-rib design greatly enhances the cover and sidewall load-bearing capabilities. Custom lid options are also available for a variety of environments.
